Joe Solano

Joe’s  role is responsible for creating programs & tools that can assess and funnel adults with Down Syndrome in Zimbabwe into relevant educational and or vocational training programs so they can be integrated into the community as capable and able individuals. Joes role will also inter-connect with the team on the ground in Zimbabwe to advocate with business leaders in the communities in order to educate and make room for those we equip & train to be hired in actual paid jobs.

Joe Solano is the Co- Owner, Life Touch Therapy. 

After a career as a computer programmer, I became a therapist in 2014. I’ve had the privilege of working with both adults & children as a treating therapist in varying settings.  Currently I support both the therapist & families from an administrative position. I spend most of my days in the office & my evening time with my family & volunteering at my church where I serve as an Elder, marriage ministry leader & young adults ministry leader.  I’m excited to be a part of this team to continue to help more children and families
